Senior Product Manager responsibilities include:
Developing product requirements and roadmaps
Leading product managers and coordinating with engineering, marketing, and other teams
Incorporating feedback and input from customers, partners and in-house teams on product strategy and finding ways to expand product market reach
We are looking for a candidate that is driven, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, multi-tasks learns quickly, and can adapt to and work well in a very fast-paced distributed environment in the following ways:
Evaluate customer business cases and workflows and translate needs into product requirements
Develop use-cases documenting specific instances of real-world product application
Assemble product requirements from multiple stakeholders – customer, regulatory, technical, design – and weave together scenarios into executable stories for engineering
Possess an understanding of user experience/usability across Web and Mobile interfaces
Collaborate with the development team to define features and work with quality assurance to fix defects and aid in testing
Develop and implement go-to-market plans, working with various departments to execute
Partner with the customer support team to investigate and solve customer problems
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage partners and be comfortable with changing requirements based on real-world product use
Expected to prioritize workload and meet multiple project deadlines.
Act as a leader within the company and be able to think strategically across customers, product lines, and utilization of resources
Possess a strong blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality
Required Experience & Knowledge
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Science or technical field or equivalent practical experience in software product development and/or product management
5-10 years’ relevant work experience with 4+ years as a product manager, preferably in cloud-based solutions (SaaS)
Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills
Must be able to see the big picture and manage details with a sense of urgency and sound judgment
Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational, and analytical skills
Possess an entrepreneurial drive with demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment
Knowledgeable across multiple functional areas such as product management, development, user experience, customer support, and project management
Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing.
Experience in both agile and waterfall software development management methodologies
Nice to Have
Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications
Possess Teamwork and Communication skills (such as):
Document detailed designs with class and sequence diagrams
