Michael Anderson is a multi-dimensional & immensely passionate sales, technology, and business development executive who holds extensive experience of working in the business-technology industry. Equipped with a formidable blend of knowledge & understanding of sales, motivation, negotiations, and technology, he excels in the niches of management, strategy development, client relations, team building and closing a deal. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida. He has had the luxury of working in a diversified workplace environment and is motivated & inspired by the drive to contribute to the growth & cultivation of the prosperous IT and business community.

 

Michael possesses an experience of more than 24 years of serving as a business leader & had the honor of serving high-profile companies/organizations as a Chief Revenue Officer, General Manager, Vice President, Director, and Senior Manager. These include the likes of Amelia US LLC (an IPsoft company), HERE Technologies, LIVEPERSON, Accenture, Capgemini and Oracle. As a Business Professional, E-Commerce Expert and Team Leader, Michael’s primary objective is to drive business results in sales, account management, mergers and acquisitions, planning, sales operations, ITIL Framework, consulting, project management, technology deployment, communication, change management, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.

 

Presently, he serves as the Chief Revenue Officer of Amelia.ai, which is the leader within the AI Conversational and Autonomics space. His team consists of 80+ resources in various roles such as Sales, Account Managers, Enterprise Managers, Customer Success, Program Managers, Cognitive and Autonomic Sales Engineers and Technical Account Managers serving various regions throughout the globe. Currently, as CRO and Senior Vice President at Amelia.ai, Mr. Anderson oversees global responsibilities to establish the Go-

To-Market (GTM) strategy, expand and execute against the target Total-Addressable-Market (TAM) throughout the G2000/F500 Enterprises and SMB. He is responsible for managing 9 direct reports and their subsequent teams with an organization exceeding 80 professionals.

 

Throughout his Amelia.ai tenure, Michael partnered with the Executive Leadership Team to help transition Amelia from a Managed Services providers to the global leader in Conversational AI as represented by the top analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, Ovum and Everest. The transition took 2-years and represented a transformation that included rebranding from IPsoft to Amelia.ai, overhauling the GTM strategy and TAM, reduction in employee count from 3,000 to 600 while minimizing impact to gross retention.

 

Besides this, Michael is an avid seeker of knowledge who shares a great passion for artificial intelligence and automation. He seeks to motivate, encourage, and empower his team of zealous professionals in the quest of prevailing business career success. He has served on multiple boards at Samesurf (Real Time Collaboration), ArrowCoreGroup.com (Services and Staffing Firm) and Oracle Spatial.Michael serves as an ambassador of business excellence and is inspired by the drive to nurture the business leaders of today & tomorrow.
