Will Conaway

Advisor

Will Conaway has served as a Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Staff, Chief Information Officer, Vice President of Technology, and Chief Growth Officer. He is recognized for his continuing contributions to strategic planning and innovation in healthcare. Concurrent with his executive roles, Will teaches at three colleges at Cornell University, working with masters-level students in leadership, strategy, and healthcare. He teaches courses in The Executive Master of Human Resources at Cornell’s ILR School, The Executive Master in Healthcare Administration at Cornell’s Sloan College of Human Ecology, and The Executive Master of Public Administration program at Cornell’s Brooks Public Policy. His service on boards and councils includes Momentum Innovative Disability Services (Southern California), AI Health Insights, AEHIT & AEHIA Board at CHIME, Chair of the CHIME Communication Committee, Forbes Technology Council, Fast Company Executive Board, Chair of the Kansas State University Psychology Sciences Alumni Advisory Council, American Heart Association’s Executive Leadership Team-Heart & Stroke Ball, Los Angeles, The Board of Governors at the Federation of American Hospitals, Manifest MedEx Advisory Committee, The Los Angeles World Affairs Council, AT&T’s Healthcare Advisory Council. He received the Constellation’s Business Transformation 150 Award in 2020 & 2022 for Recognized Exemplar of Leadership in Driving a Digital Future, and Becker’s Hospital Review’s 100 Hospital and Health System CIOs to Know for 2019. He has been a featured speaker at graduations and events at Cornell University and Kansas State University. He was a panelist at the prestigious Roundtable on the State of Healthcare and Technology in the U.S., hosted by Harvard Business School and athenahealth. He also emceed and moderated the CIO & CISO Southern California Summit in 2020. He has appeared in American Healthcare Leader, HealthTech magazine, Becker’s Hospital Review, Business Chief, and Gigabit magazine issues. He was a panelist on a top-ranked Becker’s Group C-Suite Report. He presented at Cornell University’s Leadership Symposium in May 2022. He is a featured session leader at Health Insights Fall event and presented on leadership at the “CHIME Fall Forum, 2022.” Will is part of a team working on a book on Cybersecurity.
